posterous apps and groups

I blogged a long time ago about posterous, and have always liked using  it as an introduction  for blogging beginners, as it effectively makes blogging as easy as composing an email.  That's because in order to blog, you errr... send an email.  Before Christmas I started to draft a mention of the iPhone app, which allows you to post text, audio pictures and video to blog very easily (see posterous video below).  Before I got round to publishing that, they  introduced posterous  groups, so you can share docs, images, videos among a private audience.  The neat thing here is that this has been done whilst preserving the basic simplicity of just sending an email.  If you are looking to branch out into blogging yourself it is well worth a look, and check out James Clay's blog post which looks at the groups feature functionality.
