timers in powerpoint

For anyone like City College, moving from Office 2003 to Office 2010, this practical comparison of how you can create a timer to work within a PowerPoint slide hopefully kills two birds with one stone:
  • You can start to appreciate the different ways of working in the two versions of PowerPoint
  • You find out how to make the timer, to give your presentations more interactive possibilities!

If you do not want to make your own timers, remember that Dave Foord has produced some excellent premade ones you can build in to your presentations, Mr Google should be able to help you find them.
