History pin

history pin is a fabulous resource that allows you to seach through old photos of places, and even superimpose them onto a  present day Google streeview, to see how things have changed.  My illustration shows the tramlines going down in Tombland, Norwich.  Even better is the fact that this is crowd sourced, so you can join in yourself, and add your own photos to the resource.  But for a better general idea take a look at their introductory video below
